How IA Hub uses Google user data
This page supplements the Privacy Policy and explains how IA Hub uses data accessed through Google APIs (including OAuth and Google Analytics), consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
1. Google data we access
- Basic identity needed for the OAuth flow (per granted scopes).
- Read-only marketing scopes — prioritized: analytics.readonly (Google Analytics / GA4).
- OAuth access/refresh tokens stored securely on the workspace backend.
- Metrics and metadata for properties/accounts authorized by the user, for internal dashboards and analysis.
2. How IA Hub uses that data
- Only to provide and improve user-facing IA Hub features (connections, sync, ops, reports).
- IA Hub does not use Google data to serve ads, including personalized/retargeting ads.
- IA Hub does not sell data obtained via Google APIs.
- IA Hub does not transfer Google data to third parties except infrastructure providers under contract, when required by law, or with explicit customer instruction in the service context.
3. Limited Use
IA Hub adheres to Google’s Limited Use requirements: Google user data is not used for purposes unrelated to the user-facing functionality of the IA Hub application.
4. Storage and security
- Tokens and secrets stay on the server, not in the frontend.
- Workspace isolation and RBAC.
- HTTPS.
- Users can disconnect the provider anytime in Marketing → Connections.
5. Revocation
Besides disconnecting in IA Hub, you can revoke access in Google Account → Third-party access.
